Hotel booking cancellation terms and conditions
kapSTONE's Hotel cancellation policy varies depending on the specific hotel and the rate type booked. The precise terms will be shown to you during the booking process on the "room selection" and "booking review" pages.
Here is a summary of the general terms
- Variable policies: Each hotel listed on kapSTONE sets its own cancellation policy regarding refund eligibility, timelines, and charges. One must check the specific terms for your chosen hotel before booking.
- Promotional rates: If you used an offer, discount, or cashback for your booking, the cancellation rules often change.
- Full cancellation: The offer becomes void. If you cancel after receiving a discount or cashback, ixigo will deduct that amount from your refund, and standard cancellation charges will apply.
- Partial cancellation: The offer may become void if your revised booking amount no longer qualifies. If it still qualifies, the discount will be adjusted accordingly.
- Pay-at-hotel option: If you select the "Pay at Hotel" option, you can book online and pay at the property. However, promotional offers are often not applicable to this payment method.
- No-shows: If you fail to check in without prior cancellation, you are typically not eligible for any refund.
- Final authority: kapSTONE reserves the right to interpret the terms and conditions. In cases of suspected misuse or abuse of an offer, ixigo may deny the offer or cancel the booking at its discretion.
